Frequently Asked Questions
The questions below cover what actually comes up before and during a build — pricing structure, what's included, and how the process works day to day. If something isn't covered here, the Contact page is the fastest way to get a direct answer.
What's the difference between Starter, Growth, and Pro?
Page count, mainly — 1, 4, and 9 pages respectively — which changes what you can realistically include. Starter is one scrolling page with all the essentials; Growth and Pro split things into dedicated pages as the site grows, giving each section more room to breathe.
Do you handle hosting and domain registration?
Not in the base price. All three packages are development only. Hosting/domain is a separate add-on — see it broken out on the Pricing page. This keeps the core build price predictable regardless of which hosting setup ends up making sense for you.
How long does the build take?
Turnaround varies by tier — see the Pricing page for current figures. Note: these are placeholder figures pending real business confirmation, so treat them as directional rather than final until they're confirmed.
How many revisions do I get?
Revision rounds vary by tier — see the Pricing page for current figures. Note: these are placeholder figures pending real business confirmation.
Do you write the content, or do I need to provide it?
We can draft copy from what you give us in the intake form, or use content you've already written — either works. Most people land somewhere in between: a rough idea of what they want to say, refined into finished copy during the draft.
Can I see examples of sites you've built?
Yes — the Portfolio page has completed builds, and Templates shows style options if you want a sense of layout before committing.
What if I don't have a domain yet?
That's fine — you can register one separately with any domain registrar, or wait until you're ready to launch and register it right before pointing it at your finished site. A site can also go live on a temporary domain in the meantime if needed.
Do I own the finished website?
Yes — once the build is complete and paid for, the site and its code are yours. There's no ongoing licensing fee tied to the build itself, separate from whatever hosting arrangement you choose.
Can I upgrade from Starter to Growth or Pro later?
This is worth checking directly before ordering, since the exact process for a mid-engagement upgrade isn't fully defined yet — see the Contact page in the meantime if this applies to your situation.
What information do you need from me to get started?
After checkout, a short intake form collects your goals, any existing content (bio, photos, work samples), and examples of sites or styles you like. The more specific this is, the fewer revision rounds it typically takes to land on something you're happy with.
Will my site work well on mobile?
Yes — every build is designed to work cleanly across desktop, tablet, and mobile screens as a standard part of the process, not an optional add-on.
What happens if I'm not happy with the first draft?
That's what the revision rounds are for — you'll get a live preview link to review, and specific feedback gets incorporated in the following round rather than requiring you to accept the first version as final.
Do you offer ongoing maintenance after launch?
The base packages cover the initial build. Ongoing updates or maintenance beyond launch would be a separate conversation — reach out via the Contact page if this is something you're considering.
Is there a satisfaction guarantee?
See the Guarantee page for the current, honest answer — this is one of the areas still being finalized, and we'd rather be upfront about that than make a vague promise we haven't fully defined yet.
Can I request a custom design instead of the standard style?
The blueprint-inspired design system used across the site is the current default direction, built to work well across a wide range of professional fields. If you have a strong preference for a different visual direction, mention it in the intake form and we'll see what's possible within your tier's scope.
How do payments work — is it secure?
Checkout runs through Stripe, a widely used payment processor. We never see or store your card details directly — that information is handled entirely by Stripe's secure checkout flow.
Can I change my site's content after launch myself?
The base build doesn't include a self-editing content management system by default — content updates after launch would typically go through us. If ongoing self-editing is important to you, mention it in the intake form so it can be accounted for in the build.
What if I need something outside the standard scope of my tier?
Reach out via the Contact page before ordering if you have an unusual requirement — some things can be accommodated within a tier, and others might mean a different tier or a custom conversation makes more sense.
